| Bio: | I have nothing of real interest to put here. That much will become apparent as you read the results of my keyboard yammering. But, why the hell not? A bit of background: I've spent the last six years in college, the first two of which were me "finding a direction to follow" (ha!). I would have gone into cosmology, but my incurable suckitude at all things numerical and mathematical killed that dream. The next four years I spent carving out a B.A. in commercial photograhy. I want to shoot cars editorially and for advertisement/catalogue. You can ask me how I fell in love with photography and I'll spill freely. Ask me how I feel in love with *automotive* photography and I'll be at a loss for words. I don't understand it myself, but ain't that half the joy of wuve, true wuve? Whether I make it into a viable career remains to be seen. Frankly, I'm terrified of the real world and wish I had *another* six years to blow. I have little to no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life, whether it be career, family, marriage -- all the major points. To quote Cake, "I just want to play on my panpipes. I just want to drink me some wine [and a BMW 5 series. With GPS and chrome wheels -- ed]" I know that much, so I guess it's a start or something. Southern California blonde chick, born and raised. I tend to head east to the desert or the ski slopes rather than west to L.A. when I need a diversion. I have blind, decrepit cocker spaniel that I adore; a '99 Jetta that I also adore; a menagerie of camera equipment that I -- you guessed it -- adore; a bipolar disorder that I certainly do not adore (but even it has its, ahem, charms at times); a double-wide at The River, the greatest place in the Sol System; and a head full of predominantly useless knowledge, save for the occasional triva showdown. I'm not a natural-born romantic, although I do plenty of navel-gazing in my spare and not-so-spare time. I'm alarmingly self-involved, actually. And self deprecating. If you haven't figured that last one out by now...well, good luck with all that. I'll add/edit more as events dictate. Or when I feel particularly self-absorbed. | |||||
